Headquartered in Skaneateles, New York, Welch Allyn employs more than 2,750 people and has manufacturing, sales, and distribution facilities located throughout the world.
A fourth generation family-owned business headquartered less than ten miles from where it was founded in 1915,[1] Welch Allyn is still family owned and based primarily in the United States. Currently, the company has two fourth generation family members involved as executives helping to manage day-to-day operations, and three fourth generation family members serving on the board of directors.[2] Welch Allyn produces 90% of the medical diagnostic equipment sold in the United States.
